Job Description and Requirements

Denver Rubber Company is in the process of transitioning from a local server based operation to a cloud based structure. Additionally, our company is also transitioning from Sage Businessworks, a mid grade accounting package to Sage ERP X3, a high end manufacturing , CRM, ERP package. The successful candidate will be responsible for the transition from the current server base to the cloud based infrastructure, as well as the implementation of the accounting package. Responsibilities include day-to-day administration and operations of various platforms and systems. This includes troubleshooting and resolving problems as they arise; developing plans and processes designed to improve the long-term capabilities of infrastructure systems; ensure that platforms and/or systems are operating correctly at all times and are recognizing connections with other applicable devices on the network without over-utilizing resources; developing new tools and procedures aimed at making platform maintenance more effective and efficient, identifying processes that can be automated. Education * A degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering or a related field is required. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements. Experience * Minimum one year experience administering and maintaining a Windows Server or Windows SBS operating system is required, including Active Directory, SharePoint, and SQL Server. * Experience in Sage Businessworks and/or ERP X3 will be preferred.  

 

Technical

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Windows based OS’s is required.
  • Windows Server 2003/2008/2012 is required.
  • Active Directory is required.
  • SharePoint 2010 preferred.
  • SQL Server 2008/2012 preferred.
  • Sage ERP X3 preferred.
  • Cisco/Linksys Routers and Firewalls are required.
  • Cloud Implementation is required.
  • Web development is preferred.
  • SEO/SEM is preferred.

What You Will Do:

  • Assist in fabrication or assembly of rubber, foam and elastomeric components and other related OEM parts in accordance with the production plans
  • Load, stack, and transport materials by hand-truck or forklift
  • Molding, fabricate elastomerics, applying processes, assembling hose assemblies
  • Uses of measuring tools and gages
  • Operates computer controlled processing equipment
  • Fit and assemble parts into complete assembly
  • Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment
  • Other duties may be assigned

What We Need:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-3 years related experience and/or training
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) and data entry

  • Ability/desire to work as craftsman with hand tools
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and oral

Key Responsibilities This position reports directly to the CEO. Responsibility is to sell, create promotional sales activities, maintain profit margin of product line, and manage projects until successful delivery. The job requires extensive knowledge in rubber and elastomeric products, customer interactions, gasket manufacturing, design and engineering of OEM based products, developing new prospects, and managing services to meet customer’s expectation.

  • Direct Sales or Marketing experience for rubber, elastomeric and gasket manufacturing services
  • Specific customer facing experience in the OEM Industry
  • Proven track record of Business Development expertise and meeting deadline
  • Coordinate technical sales between the company and the prospects
  • Compile and present key departmental performance information to senior management, and outside departments
  • Monitor measures of sales performance and account’s cost analysis
  • Direct experience and/or strong understanding of quotation process in deal closures with customers

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Ten (10) years minimum experience in Business Development, Product Management,    Sales and Marketing in manufactured services
  • Ten (10) plus years experience in the rubber industry
  • Strong communicational, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Word) is essential
  • Motivated, self starter with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects without direct supervision, and results-oriented approach
  • Ability to work with engineers and other technical problem solvers to develop and suggest practical solutions to customers
  • Working knowledge of ISO9001:2008
